2010 Tier II Girls 19U Northern Plains District Playoff Champions

TW Girls win District!

Team Wyoming Girls played for the 2010 Tier II Girls 19U Northern Plains District Playoff in Rapid City, South Dakota, February 26-28th. Team Wyoming Girls 19U defeated Brookings Rangers (SD) 6-0 and the Big Sky Wildcats (MT) 4-0 to advance to the Championship game. Team Wyoming Girls then beat Brookings 3-1 in the Championship Game. Team Wyoming scored 13 goals in 3 games and only allowed one goal.

 

The USA Hockey National 19U Girls Tournament will be held April 7-11 in East Lansing, Michigan. There will be 12 teams competing in the first Tier II Girls 19U National Tournament.

 

Team Wyoming Girls consists of 17 players from 8 associations. The Team record for the season is 12-5-0 with 74 Goals For and 58 Goal Against. Head Coach is Titia Leisz, and Assistant Coaches are Mike Leisz and Austin Lee. Patsy Smith is the Team Manager.
